Nicole Gaugas

I qualified as a Counsellor and hypnotherapist after working for many years with people who lived with the challenges of mental health and physical health. I have trained in couples counselling and transactional analysis which has been a valuable asset for my clients wishing to explore relationship challenges. I now work with adults seeking growth and development by using different theories' of counselling. 
 

I worked on a bespoke basis tailoring my approach to the needs of the client some of which include therapies such as Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness. I am able to offer you similar approaches and complete confidentially when you talk about your concerns.

I constantly develop in my profession by regularly attending training. During my career I have developed and delivered bespoke personal interventions, group interventions, exploring who you want to be / are, anxiety, meditation, exam stress relaxation and much more. Where appropriate I use these techniques within my hypnotherapy practices. 

Prior to becoming a therapist I trained in Special Needs and became a manger of a facility for people with mental health and physical challenges. This lead me to gain professional qualifications in Hypnotherapy and Counselling as I have always been fascinated by how the mind and body are connected. I am particularly interested in working with individuals to resolve their issues and achieve their goals.

I am a registered member of The National Hypnotherapy Society and The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and I am regulated by both organisations and work in compliance with their ethical standards and procedures, including the Data Protection Act 2018. I am registered with the ICO.gov.uk
